We have changed names! 

Daisy Creek is a combination between our original herd "Kabak Lamanchas" and Tim Malo's herd "Dakota Acres Saanens".  Tim and I decided to combine the herds and it is working wonderfully.  The girls seem to like the arrangement also. 

We have been raising and showing goats since 2003, starting with family milkers and then getting the show "bug".  We currently participate in DHIR testing and Linear Appraisal.  We show at the local and state level.   Our milk is used to raise calves, squirrles, kittens, puppies and many other critters, as well as to make cheese and of course to drink!

 Herd Health

All animals over 6 months of age are tested for CAE annually.  We also test for CL and Johne's every third year.  Brucellosis and TB are annually tested as well and we are on the National Scrapie Certification program  All of our kids are dam raised but are given individual attention and socialization.  Buyers often comment on how friendly the kids are even though they are not bottle raised.  Does are vaccinated with CDT prior to kidding and the kids are vaccinated at 1 month of age.  Deworming is only done as needed using both Famancha and fecal egg counting.
